Radiant Indeterminacy is a site-specific flagging tape installation inspired by Richard Anuszkiewicz’s piece, God from Inward Eye. His use of abstraction, repetition, and vibrant color to create dimensional illusions deeply informs this work.
Building on my research into woven structures and the micro-intersections of threads, this installation scales those concepts using transparent tape and a vivid color palette. The result is a dynamic field of geometric forms and optical patterns designed to visually disorient and captivate the viewer.
This piece both honors and subverts traditional associations of textiles with domesticity and utility. I’m particularly drawn to the way Anuszkiewicz achieves retinal confusion through color and form in his prints. Through material experimentation and color play, I aim to explore and expand these effects in a spatial, immersive context.
